November 2023 update

From 1 April, families will receive more through the Family Tax Credit and Best Start payments.

• Family tax credits increase — Family Tax Credit and Best Start rates increase from 1 April 2024. Starts 1 Apr 2024
• Climate report annual-report rule eased — Some climate reporting entities have an exemption from including climate statements in annual reports. Starts 8 Dec 2023
• Rules for some land boundaries change — Surveyors must follow updated accuracy rules for certain existing and irregular boundaries. Starts 1 Jul 2024
