This month, several court, tribunal and immigration fees rise; residential-care asset and gifting limits increase; and ACC covers brief birth-injury examinations.
- Some court costs and fees rise — Some costs and fees for infringement offences and court matters increase, with one increase beginning on 1 October. Starts 1 Jul 2024
- Tenancy Tribunal fees rise — Fees for applying to the Tenancy Tribunal and accessing its records or recordings increase. Starts 1 Jul 2024
- Residential care asset limits rise — The two asset thresholds used for residential care subsidies rise to $284,636 and $155,873. Starts 1 Jul 2024
