People may gain stronger mental-health safeguards, recover Disputes Tribunal filing fees after winning, and enforce broken conveyancing promises through the High Court.
- Mental health care rules will change — The Act sets rules for compulsory mental health assessment and care, with goals including rights, safety and fairer outcomes. Starts 1 Jul 2028
