Rules applying to road users will change.

What's changing
- The rules will no longer require a certificate of loading to be affixed to a vehicle.
- Electronic certificates of loading will be allowed.
Who's affected
People and businesses using certificates of loading for vehicles may use electronic certificates instead of attaching them to vehicles.
When
The change comes into force on 1 July 2027.
Background
The government says the change will enable electronic certificates of loading. It removes wording that refers to a certificate being attached to the vehicle.
